To commemorate the centenary of Sabine Weiss's birth in Switzerland, we invite you to delve into the captivating world she captured through her lens.

Boogie Woogie Photography invites our members to the exhibition "Sabine Weiss: A Tribute (1924-2021)" to honor the remarkable legacy of Sabine Weiss, a true luminary in the realm of photography.

Mostly based in Paris, Weiss passionately depicted the city and its inhabitants with an unparalleled depth and intimacy. Her work, often categorised as "humanist photography," is a testament to her discerning eye, profound empathy, and unwavering commitment to documenting the human experience.

This exhibition features a thoughtfully curated selection of twenty-three of Weiss's iconic pieces, showcasing the breadth and depth of her exceptional talent.

Together, let us not only celebrate Sabine Weiss as a photographer but also as a trailblazer, a storyteller, and a champion of the indomitable human spirit. Join us as we pay homage to this extraordinary artist whose photographs continue to inspire and resonate with audiences worldwide.
