Vanessa FranklinCo-founder, Boogie Woogie Photography

Vanessa Franklin is a French photographer who now lives in Hong Kong. After graduating from l'Ecole des Gobelins, she went to London to work as a photo assistant. During this time she exhibited her first series of British urban toilets "Ladies & Gentlemen" in Paris Espace Cardin. She was noticed by editorial magazines and photo agent and started a prolific career as a commercial and portrait photographer in Paris and London. In 2011 she moved to Japan, where her series "Bleu" was shown at Hasselblad Gallery in Tokyo and Imura Gallery in Kyoto. Vanessa worked as a photographer while joining the Organizing Committee of Tokyo Photo Art Fair for the 2012 and 2013 edition. She moved to Hong Kong in 2014. Her exhibition "Lives and Works in Hong Kong" was shown by Alan Chan at Space 27 and more recently, she exhibited « 21 days » at f22 foto space gallery, Peninsula Hotel, Hong Kong.
