Quantum computing has the potential to vastly accelerate certain types of computations, enabling us to tackle previously intractable problems. In recent years, there has been a global effort to develop quantum computing hardware, design algorithms, and explore applications of this technology across various industries.
In this session, we will cover the following key points:
- Introducing the basics of quantum computing.
- Providing an overview of this emerging technology.
- Exploring its potential applications in the field of finance.
- Addressing the challenges that must still be overcome to make quantum computing a technology of practical value to the finance industry.
