Why Diversity Matters? BNP Paribas APAC CEO Paul Yang will share his insight into key initiatives which are helping to drive change.

As part of our longstanding series of HeForShe sharing sessions, we hear directly from the companies leading the charge for a more inclusive and diverse workplace.

In this hybrid session Why Diversity Matters: FCCIHK President Gaëlle Olivier will be in conversation with BNP Paribas APAC CEO Paul Yang on why one of Europe’s leading banks and a global leader in sustainable finance is committed to gender diversity.

As an employer of more than 2500 people in Hong Kong and 18,000 staff across Asia, BNP Paribas's commitment to diversity & inclusion has had far-reaching impact.  The bank’s commitment towards a more equal future stems from its early adoption of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Mr Yang will share his insight into key initiatives which are helping to drive change not just across BNP Paribas but across the financial services sector more broadly.  The bank has a comprehensive ongoing program of internal Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives which align with ambitious targets to drive real change.
