In 2015, the national 'Made in China 2025' strategy was launched to support the development of advanced industries and technologies. This national strategic plan aims to reduce China's reliance on foreign technology imports and to invest more in its own innovation.

Join this online China Committee session to hear from Laurent Doucet, Partner - Hong Kong Office, Eastern Asia from Roland Berger about 'Made in China 2025 - Where do we stand and what are the opportunities?'. During this session, Laurent will shed light on the background of this national strategic plan, different industries involved, andthe latest updates and progress in these domains after the first half-decade. Laurent will then focus on China's manufacturing industry, and analyse its importance to the Chinese economy, as well as latest transformations, its future opportunities, and more.
