Takuji Aida has more than 20 years of experience as chief economist. He has been ranked 2nd in the Institutional Investor survey, 3rd among equity economists and 6th among fixed income economists in the Nikkei Veritas survey. The title of his flagship macroeconomic report "アンダース口ー(Submarine Pitch)" stems from the fact that both his father and brother were professional baseball players. His reports are well received for its unique and insightful analysis of Japan' economy and market. Takuji has also serves as advisor to various LDP Diet member groups including those headed in the past by former PM Abe is also a regular commentator for Bunka Broadcasting. Takuji received his graduate degree from Johns Hopkins University and undergraduate degrees from Swarthmore College.
