After business and Chinese studies in Paris, Nicolas became goods trader between Europe and China. In
1997, he started his own trading business in Shanghai. He then became the China CEO for SOMFY, the
world leader in building automation.
In 2005, he co-created “Epicvre”, a fine foods and wine stores concept in Shanghai. That year, he also
Co-started Albatross Global Solutions in Shanghai, a company designed to help premium and luxury
brands improve service quality and sales in China. As Co-CEO, Nicolas was mainly involved in Business
development. He opened an office Hong-Kong in 2006 and then started regional expansion in Asia,
opening subsidiary in Taipei, Tokyo, Seoul, Singapore, Bangkok. and Sidney. In 2010, Albatross decided to
become a global company and started to open a first subsidiary in Paris. Albatross later opened
companies in Dubai, New-York, Munich, London, Moscow and Sao Paulo.
End-2015, Nicolas resigned from his executive positions in Albatross to focus on new ventures, but
remains co-owner and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Albatross then changed its name to become
the Customer Experience Group ( or CXG ).
In 2018, Nicolas created a sportswear brand, Debayn, that he still manages. He also develops real estate
projects in several Asian locations
