Born in the United States, Katherine Linn’s parents, both American, decided to move to the south of France in 1993. Then came the 98' world cup and the will to play football came along. She was rapidly recruited by Montpellier Hérault Sport club – the French pioneer in women's football. After nearly 10 seasons she was facing very strong competition and wasn't getting much playing time. In 2012 she was offered the opportunity to play for FF Issy, team in the Paris area reaching the French 1st Division. After 4 seasons under their colors, Linn chose to end her athletic career and embrace a new profession. Today she plays football as a leisure activity allowing her to have a steady balance all around.
