With over eight years of experience in operations, manufacturing, and customer success, Jose is a passionate and multi-disciplined professional who leads the Hong Kong office of Spare-it, a PropTech and sustainability company with the mission of accelerating the zero-waste-to-landfill movement, working with organisations to help divert waste from landfill and reduce waste.

As General Manager, we have partnered with key Property Developers and Multinational Companies in Hong Kong to replace their dumpster data with precise in-building waste data at the building, floor, and even bin level. We have helped organisations move beyond messy, limited audits to scalable, clean data insights using computer vision and AI. We have enabled our customers to use data to transform their goals into tangible, attainable, and motivating outcomes for everyone in their organisation.

Jose’s multicultural and multi-industry experience enables him to think strategically and influence colleagues and clients from different technical and C-level backgrounds. Jose has a strong track record of delivering results, collaborating with partners, and driving innovation in the PropTechand sustainability sectors.

Jose holds an MBA from HKU Business School, a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey, and a Six Sigma certification. He is also fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese and has intermediate proficiency in French and Mandarin.
