Gwenaël DelattreManaging Director, Head of Loan Syndicate and Sales, Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking

Based in Hong Kong, Gwenaël is responsible for managing the Loan Syndicate and Sales activities of Société Générale in Asia Pacific, originating and distributing assets across Asia Pacific in project finance (renewables, oil and gas, infrastructure) and asset finance (shipping, real estate, aviation). He has 16 years of experience in structured finance on a global basis, primarily in shipping finance. Throughout his prior roles in Société Générale, he has successfully advised on, originated and executed project/asset/corporate-style financings with significant distribution and ESG angles.

Gwenaël joined Société Générale’s HK Shipping & Offshore Finance team in October 2017, from Société Générale’s LNG Shipping and Offshore team in London. Prior to joining Société Générale, he had been working in Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation since 2007, based in Paris and London. Gwenaël holds a Masters in Management from Paris-based business school ESCP Europe (with specialisation in finance) as well as from the City University in London.
