Dr. Yannick DELEUZEHead of AI and Data Science, Veolia Asia

Dr. Yannick Deleuze is Head of AI & Data Science at Veolia Asia with over ten years of experience in the field. As the lead in AI within Veolia Asia, he applies his expertise in artificial intelligence, data science, mathematical modeling, and optimization, leading and guiding the network of data scientists in Veolia Asia to support advancements in environmental services. His work focuses on developing AI solutions for applications in water, waste, and energy sectors.


Before his current position, Yannick worked as a Research Scientist at Veolia's Research and Innovation division and as a Junior Research Assistant at National Taiwan University. He has been actively involved in the scientific community, contributing to various research projects, international publications, conferences, and patents.


Outside of his professional work, Yannick is an avid rugby player. He is also a passionate photographer, capturing the beauty of landscapes and urban environments through his lens.


Yannick holds a PhD in Engineering Science from National Taiwan University and a Doctorate of Science in Applied Mathematics from Sorbonne University. His early research was at the intersection of applied mathematics, computer science, and biomedical sciences.
