For our client, a design brand exported to the finest stores globally, we are currently looking for a talented Sales Manager Greater China. 

About the ROLE

You will be responsible for leading the brand’s development in your assigned territories.

You will provide leadership and management of your distribution network to improve our market share, achieve sales targets as well as brand goals.

You will work closely both with your local partners and other departments to build the best value proposition to end consumers locally.

1) Sales

• Build the Annual Commercial plan on assigned territories in line with the Company strategy
• Manage, develop existing customers according to brand strategy
• Expand the Company distribution network through new customers and or channels
• Negotiate and maintain contractual terms
• Collect and analyze stock and sales and propose correctives actions if necessary
• Maintain an accurate sales data base and CRM system
• Participate to the cash collection in liaison with the Finance team

2) Merchandising and Brand Imagery
• Ensure proper merchandising POS management in existing/new partners
• Provide partners with products training and materials
• Support the Company promotion and marketing efforts of the company, including and not limited to Trade
Shows, Exhibitions and Pop-Stores
• Provide feedback to Design Team to maximize the utilization of the space and still maintain the brand

3) Marketing
• Implement and maximize launch opportunities for new products
• Ensure availability of point of sale materials, good utilization and effective use of such support
• Propose and implement specific marketing activities with key customers to stimulate brand awareness
and/or sales performance (within allocated budget)
• Negotiates with customers on highlights/layout on customers’ media tools (on x offline) where applicable

4) Market Share/Competitive Activity
• Keep abreast with competitors’ activities and provides feedback on competitive dynamics such as
competitors’ activities, pricing, brand ranking and market share for each account
• Provides feedback to Marketing Department on the success of internal marketing activities as well as
those of competitors
• Know the market (size, profile, future potential etc.)

5) Stock
• Ensure correct product mix and full assortments to keep stock level adequate for all customers
• Work with customers and logistics team to manage orders and shipments
• Advise on suspected diversion of products
• Work closely with customers to manage forecasting and stock requirements

6) Reporting
• Participate actively to the Weekly Sales meeting
• Produce comprehensive monthly reporting to the Management



• Excellent attitude, mindset and presentation are a MUST
• A minimum of 5-10 years of similar experience
• Excellent business development knowledge & network of top-tier retail brands in China
• Candidates coming from FMCG, Luxury goods, Premium watch brands, Fashion brands, Hi-tech products, Design & Lifestyle industries in China are highly encouraged to apply
• Bachelor’s Degree in Sales and Marketing
• Excellent level of English & Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese)
• Organized and attention to details
• Self-motivated, self-starter and team player
• Able to travel up to 40% of the time
• Proficient in MS Office
• Candidates based in China will also be considered
• Preference given to those who can report to work immediately
