Our client is a young company opening new positions facing a strong development.
They excel at providing high end brands and retailers with solutions for their GWPs (Gift with Purchase) and promotional items.
Our client belongs to a group of more than hundred partners. They take care of the entire supply chain for their clients: from designing to delivery to doors.

Hiring a talented merchandising manager to be in charge of the sourcing and manufacturing operations for their prestigious clients.

You will be responsible of:
Sourcing, manufacturing, quality control operations on a daily basis.
Product development process and advising sales team on how to reach customers’ requirements.
You are responsible to drive a part of the company performance by providing sales team with creative solutions in terms of sourcing and manufacturing.
The equation price/quality/lead time is your daily challenge.
Managing the merchandising team in Hong Kong (2 people). Managing QC team in China (2 people).
You also have a designer to manage.

You need to have:
Proven experience in trading gift & premiums for high end customers.
Excellent knowledge in materials and logo processing /Excellent in product development & Supply Chain Management.
Large sense of creativity to achieve our very demanding clients’ request.
Fluent in French & Mandarin
Strong determination to achieve targets we will give you.
Excellence skills in negotiation.
At least 5 years of experience with proven results.

You need to be:
Willing to take part in a SME business.
PROACTIVE and independent with an excellent sense of details.
Motivated by improving and enhancing SGI suppliers base, product range and pricing.
Able to work under pressure and lead from A to Z your department.
Open to others with good communications skills.
Able to cope with deadlines.

Office located in Sheung Wan
Travel to China are requested (not weekly)
