Our client is looking for someone to be able to overlook the Human Resources of the whole group especially by advising company CFO / managers to enhance their HR scheme (employment contract, bonus and salary set up etc…) but also the chairman into senior recruitment (profile screening, job description, package etc…). This person will also take care of an HR company project where teamed-up with our F&B Operation director they will develop a recruitment division specialized in F&B.

Group duties:

  • Work as a business partner to senior Management at both group and entity levels on manpower issues and major HR initiatives to meet the business goals;
  • Engage in manpower planning and organization design to optimize manpower resources to cope with the changing business needs;
  • Work with the senior Management to support major tasks include identifying appropriate recruitment channels, performing market analysis on compensation package so as to develop the appropriate offer to key positions as well as training;
  • Give advice to senior Management in respect of cost-saving, efficiency and effectiveness through review of policies & procedures and new system implementations;
  • Oversee the full function HR services such as compensation & benefits, policy and procedures, performance management and training & development;
  • Drive and integrate performance management, talent management, staff engagement, employee development, and change programs into the business;
  • Offer efficient staffing and resourcing services in areas such as internal recruitment, promotion, termination, inter-group transfer, secondment, and short term assignments;
  • Provide guidance and advice to senior Management on performance and attendance related issues; disciplinary, grievance and other disputes, ensuring appropriate advice and due process is followed;
  • Assist with the senior Management of headcount and budget to ensure they are aligned to annual budgeting and relevant business strategy;
  • Compile management reports and statistical analysis to the Board of Director of the company.

F&B project duties:

  • Help to create, build and lead a structure (team, company…) in order to source F&B profile and operate on the F&B recruitment market in HK
  • Create and develop process to recruit and to place people in company among different profiles:
    • Local Talent
      • Use of Interview forms
      • Build a strong restaurant professionals database through partners (food suppliers, booking companies, medias) and current knowledge of the market (strong).
      • Sell employees to restaurant but also hotels
      • Do not be limited to Restaurant professionals but extend to front office and hostesses
      • Use of local recruitment platforms such as Jobs DB and organize training if any needed
    • Import talents
      • Partner up with schools in Asia and Europe
  • Casual workers
    • Provide hotel and restaurant with casual labor forces
