Our client, a French renowned fashion brand, is looking for a Commercial Trainee/ Intern (1-year contract) to join its team.

Job Duties:

Merchandising: Understanding the company's merchandising structure and be one of the key players in the buying process

  • Learn the APAC markets and analyze the buy
  • Learn the company's products and provide market insights
  • Participate in key conference organizations
  • Support daily operations

Commercial: Strengthening company position as the most desirable premium casual wear brand in the region by providing commercial support to Key Account Managers for the below tasks

  • Commercial analysis of monthly sales/dashboard (Qualitative & Quantitative feedback)
  • Inventory pre-analysis (stock on-hand versus market reality and sales projection)
  • Collection sell-thru analysis in close collaboration with local partners (identification of top/flop sellers)
  • Point Of Sales database classification per country
  • Miscellaneous (Expense Authorization Request Application, Ad-hoc reports)


Sales Operation: Partnering with our Sales Operation Manager to provide first class customer service through following activities:

  • Analysis of season order status and stock support status
  • Review of new season launch result from platforms
  • Order management in the system
  • Preview and pre-analysis POS data and customer submitted reports accuracy and completeness
  • Miscellaneous (ad hoc support on customer shipment arrangement and system transactions)


Project Management: Taking part to the seasonal purchase process on customer point of view through the project “Better Drive the Buy”

  • Build local selection and regional selection
  • Participate in regional processes (MTP processes, pricing sessions, forecast and cancellations)
  • Monitor the selection from customers to achieve global KPIs
  • Support customers and internal departments in new processes implementation in system



  • With at least 6-12 months’ relevant working/internship experience
  • Must be fluent in English, French speaking is an advantage but not a must
  • Good in numerical analysis and MS Office (particularly Excel)
  • Flexible, sincere, with strong motivation to learn
