Come and meet with YAN Lan, one of the most influential business women in China
 
Taking advantage of the release of her book, Chez les Yan, we are delighted to welcome Mrs Yan, Head of Greater China at Lazard, one of the most inspiring franco-chinese business women of our times.
 
Chez Les Yan depicts a formidable Chinese saga, from the Cultural Revolution to the present day, with YAN Lan prominent family’s story in the background.  
 
Through a conversation led by Florence de Changy, Mrs Yan will share her fascinating professional career, insights on China’s recent history as well as current hot economic and social issues.
 
 
About the speaker
 
YAN Lan Head of Greater China Investment Banking, Managing Director, Beijing / Hong Kong, Lazard
 
YAN Lan joined Lazard as a Managing Director and Head of Greater China Investment Banking in April 2011. She leads the Lazard Greater China team in cooperation with the Lazard global network to advice in high profile cross-border M&A transactions involving Chinese companies.
 
YAN Lan joined Gide Loyrette Nouel in Paris in 1991, became partner in 1998, then Chief Representative of GLN Beijing office. She has rich experience on foreign companies’ investment in China.
 
She is a member of the Seoul International Business Advisory Council (SIBAC). She is also Honorary Consul of the Principality of Monaco in Beijing. Ms. Yan is the board director of Carrefour Group. She was granted Chevalier de la Légion d'Honneur (France) and Chevalier de l’Ordre de Saint-Charles (Monaco).
 
 
About the moderator
 
Florence DE CHANGY is the French daily Le Monde and national radio RFI correspondent in Hong Kong, and has been reporting from Asia Pacific for the last 25 years. She is also first Vice-President of the Foreign Correspondent club of Hong Kong.
 
 
Although “Chez Les Yan” is only available in French, the event will be in English as usual.


Registration Policy
* An online registration is a confirmed booking.
* Cancellation must be notified at least 3 days before the event, otherwise no refund will be done.
* For non members, no show will be charged unless the event is cancelled by the organiser.
* No show penalty of HK$200 will be applied to members if they do not attend the event (without the required three days prior notification of cancellation).
* When Typhoon 8 (or above) or Black Rainstorm Signal is hoisted, all events will be cancelled.
