Climate change and environmental policies: Will China take the lead on climate change?

- With the US exit from the Paris agreement, in what measure could China be the leader of the aspirations of the countries in the Paris agreement?

- Is there any real will from China?

Is the Central Government able to apply it over the whole territory?

Pat Nie Woo, Partner, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility, KPMG in China
Pat oversees Corporate Social Responsibility at KPMG China and is a core member of the KPMG China Steering Committee on Climate Change & Sustainability (CC&S).
He has been active for over 10 years in the field of sustainable development and now serves on the Hong Kong Financial Services Development Council and Green Finance Task Force to drive the development of green and responsible finance in the region.
He is also part of the United Nations Economic & Social Commission for Asia Pacific (UNESCAP) on their Sustainable Business Network Task Force on Banking and Finance.
