Colliers has released its Mid-Year Review highlighting a rapid increase in property prices recorded in H1 2017 on the back of robust economic growth. Colliers believes the rise in property value will continue to be fuelled by ample monetary liquidity, negative real interest rates, a chronic supply shortage and an active investment demand. But since potential buyers and sellers are searching for a new market equilibrium, property prices are expected to edge towards the peak as growth attenuates.
